Armored cables are designed for improved mechanical and rodent protection in direct bury applications. The rugged loose tube design offers reliable transmission performance over a broad temperature range and design features optical Fibers placed inside a single gel-filled tube. An ECCS corrugated steel armoured is applied and a black outer jacket completes the cable construction. Rip cords are included under the armoured for ease of access to the core tube.
