Product Description

The Extreme Networks EXOS-MPLS-FP-X465 is an EXOS MPLS feature pack for the ExtremeSwitching X465 series. It provides the following features:

1. MPLS Label Distribution Protocol (LDP): Enables LDP on the switch for label switching and forwarding.
2. MPLS Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS): Enables the creation of a virtual Ethernet LAN service over an MPLS network.
3. MPLS Traffic Engineering (TE): Enables the creation of Label Switched Paths (LSPs) with specific traffic engineering constraints.
4. MPLS Layer 3 VPN (L3VPN): Enables the creation of a virtual private network over an MPLS network using Layer 3 routing.
5. MPLS Fast Reroute (FRR): Provides protection against network failures by enabling rapid switchover to a backup path.
6. MPLS Quality of Service (QoS): Enables the use of MPLS traffic engineering and label switching with QoS policies.
