The Extreme Networks 16321 Summit X480 Core License is a software license for the ExtremeXOS operating system that enables the following features on a Summit X480 switch:

• Layer 3 IP Routing: The ability to route IP traffic between different networks, including support for static routing, dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and multicast routing protocols such as PIM-SM.
• IPv6 Routing: The ability to route IPv6 traffic, including support for static routing, dynamic routing protocols such as OSPFv3 and BGP4+, and multicast routing protocols such as PIM-SM.
• Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP): A protocol that provides redundancy for IP networks by allowing two or more routers to work together to present the appearance of a single virtual router.
• Virtual Private Network (VPN): The ability to create secure, encrypted connections between remote networks over the Internet or other public networks, using standards such as IPsec and SSL.
• Advanced Quality of Service (QoS): The ability to prioritize network traffic based on application, user, or service requirements, ensuring that critical applications receive the bandwidth and latency they require.
• Access Control Lists (ACLs): The ability to control access to network resources by creating rules that filter traffic based on source and destination IP address, port numbers, and other criteria.
• Policy-Based Routing (PBR): The ability to route traffic based on specific policies or criteria, rather than simply using the shortest path or default route.
• Advanced Layer 2 Features: The ability to configure advanced Layer 2 features such as link aggregation, Spanning Tree Protocol, and VLANs.

This license is designed for use with the Summit X480 switch and enables advanced networking features that are typically used in enterprise and data center environments.
