The Extreme Networks 11011 Direct Attach Feature Pack provides support for direct-attached copper cables (DACs) with the following specifications:

• Compatible with Summit X440, X460, X460-G2, X480, and X670-G2 series switches
• Provides support for DACs with lengths up to 7 meters
• Supports 10G and 40G Ethernet connections
• Enables auto-negotiation for link speed and duplex mode
• Supports both copper and fiber interfaces
• Provides support for link fault signaling (LFS) and remote fault detection (RFD) on 40G Ethernet connections

With the Direct Attach Feature Pack, users can connect their switches directly to servers and storage devices using cost-effective copper cables, rather than using more expensive optical transceivers and fiber cables. This can provide cost savings and simplify network deployments.
