The Extreme Networks X450-G2 Multimedia(AVB) Pck is a feature pack that provides support for Audio-Video Bridging (AVB) technology on the X450-G2 switch platform. This feature pack allows the switch to support the following AVB standards:

• IEEE 802.1AS: Time-Sensitive Networking for time synchronization
• IEEE 802.1Qav: Forwarding and Queueing for Time-Sensitive Streams for traffic scheduling and shaping
• IEEE 802.1BA: Audio/Video Bridging systems for end-to-end transport of media streams

In addition, the feature pack provides the following features to support AVB technology:

• Support for up to 8 AVB profiles per port
• Configurable AVB parameters for network-wide QoS and bandwidth management
• AVB stream monitoring and troubleshooting tools

Overall, the X450-G2 Multimedia(AVB) Pck allows the switch to provide reliable and deterministic transport of time-sensitive media streams for applications such as video conferencing, digital signage, and live events.
